On Saturday Feb 28, 2015, I was honored to teach a large group of yoga enthusiasts in Oakville at the 10th Annual Peace of Minds Yogathon. The funds raised were in support of the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario. The participants were of all ages and abilities.

My goal was to help the participants be free from their blocks, daily stress, mind play and judgments through awareness of the breath. Breath awareness is the bridge to the present moment. Breath awareness connects you to your natural state – freedom.

Even as you are reading this take a moment to notice your breath.

Settle your pelvis.
Inhale, let your inner body get spacious and bright.
Exhale, soften. Let go of any tension, any restrictions, any judgements.

Repeat 3 times.

Notice now, if your breath flows more freely.

My yoga class was inspired by Jim Carrey. Most of us know Jim Carrey as a comedian, however, he is also spiritually motivating. Jim alludes to the unbound, unlimited, free nature of out being in this fantastic quote.
